Hey there, I'm Adam, the mastermind behind this little web hub. Great to make your acquaintance! If you're here, you might be curious as to who am I? I'm a fourth-year international student from Mauritius, hustling towards a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Ottawa. I wear my mixed heritage proudly—mom's from Morocco, and dad's a true Mauritian. I don't yet speak Arabic but it's on my to-do list for the coming years. As for other languages, I speak three—French, English, and Creole. Though I reserve Creole for those special moments. Why, you ask? Well, blame it on my French accent, which screams "tourist" every time—I just can't help it!  

Beyond academics, I'm a football enthusiast—yeah, soccer for those in North America. A devoted Liverpool fan, my favorite player is Virgil Van Dijk because, well, I'm a center back myself. Taekwondo used to be my thing, but uni life and the distance to the dojang (dojo) slowed that down. Ping pong? Love it. Volleyball? I try, but let's just say I'm not the best.

My favorite food?

Now, that's a tough one. But i can narrow it down to three:

• Moroccan Chicken Rfissa-Trid: A dish my mom used to whip up—a divine blend of stewed chicken, lentils, and onions served atop msemen, trid pastry, or bread. A taste straight from home.
• Pate au corned beef: Simple yet comforting—corned beef with any pasta, accompanied by tomatoes and onions. Dad's specialty that always left me craving seconds!
• Lasagna: Blame it on Garfield! Childhood memories and the love for that cheesy, layered goodness.

As for my wanderlust? It's a legacy from my folks. That's why I created this travel site—Kas Enn Poz, it comes from the Mauritian Creole, meaning "to relax" or "to chill."

Now, why should you dive into my content? Good question, even I play guessing games with that one! Kidding aside. One of the main reasons I believe this website and its upcoming content might strike a chord is that I simply adore traveling and as someone shaped by diversity, I constantly seek to learn more about various cultures, ethnicities, and countries. I want to share with you the breathtaking places I've visited and plan to explore in the years to come. Think of me as that friend who, every time you meet, tells you everything about their holiday adventures—countries, recommendations, must-visit spots, local cuisines, how to say "hi"... you name it! I've got you covered!

This website is also my personal diary—a place for me to relive my experiences, revisit the places I've been, the flavors I've tasted. It's a constant reminder of how fortunate I am to have wandered across these incredible countries. Each nation's unique history and culture beckon me to explore them all. My ultimate goal? To visit 50 countries visited before I turn 30. Ambitious? Maybe a little. But hey, dreaming big is part of the adventure, right? Enough about me, though. I won't keep you with this lengthy "about me" spiel.
